Exploring music with children – Kerikeri

DATE: Saturday  March  28, 9.30am – 3.30pm
VENUE: Kingston House, 123 Hone Heke Road, Kerikeri.

Come and explore how music can be integrated into the everyday classroom using the multi-sensory Orff approach that benefits our children. Starting with a simple story or Ukulele song we will explore different ways in which we can use language to create music and movement. Enjoy this hands on approach to music and the arts confidence as a teacher for the children you work with. Learn new songs and games which support our children to try new musical ideas and see how some of the ideas can be adapted to suit different ages. Come and be inspired to give music a go.
