2021 ONZA Marimba Festival: Songs from Papatūānuku

Lindo Francis Memorial Grant  information click HERE

The ONZA Marimba Festival will be conducted in Auckland, Tauranga and Dunedin this year in terms 3 and 4. Teachers whose students participate in these events will have the opportunity to attend inspiring professional development, free of charge, once per term, to play through an exciting repertoire fully adaptable to suit their music curriculum goals. On the day of the festival itself, hundreds of students rehearse and perform the set in a mass celebration of music education.

If you are interested in this exciting event, you should contact Cat Rowllings Auckland, Jeremy Hantler Tauranga or Ali Caldwell Dunedin.

The Auckland Marimba Festival will take place on POSTPONED. New dates to be confirmed in the near future once we know what is happening with levels restrictions in Auckland and whether we can re-book the venue on a different date.
