Deb Graham is a music mentor in Orff music for Northland teachers.   Previously, Deb was a Primary School Music teacher at Tauraroa Area School and a Te Ao Maori tutor with Ngati Wai Education, learning traditional games and waiata to engage students.  Deb is an experienced  Musical Theatre performer, with her most memorable roles being Eponine in Les Miserables, Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Grizabella in Cats and Madam Giry in The Phantom of the Opera, all staged in Whangarei. She is a founding member of Opera North, having sung under the tuition of Joan Kennaway QMC.  She has completed Level 1, 2 and 3 Orff Courses and continues to  implement and adapt many ideas based on the Orff approach into her mentoring programme, using a Northland flavour.
