Teach Like it’s Music

How can we teach music more musically? Give our lessons a more musical flow, shape and design? Teach with more playfulness, passion and purpose? Come join a workshop of fun activities while examining the thinking behind them.

This is a virtual workshop on Zoom aimed at primary and intermediate teachers.

Doug Goodkind

Doug Goodkin is a music educator and proponent of Orff Schulwerk. His vision of an education that meets the imaginative, spiritual and humanitarian promise of each child was formed during four decades of teaching music.

Doug is an international Orff presenter, musician and recently retired teacher after 45 years at the San Francisco School, where he taught music and movement to children between three years old and eighth grade.Doug is the author of nine books including  his recently published “Teach Like It's Music: An Artful Approach to Education”
