Presenters

Christoph Maubach trained at the Orff Institute in Salzburg and had the privilege of being taught by mentors who were themselves appointed to positions by Carl Orff himself. After a stint as lecturer in music education at the Catholic University in Melbourne, Christoph decided to make Aotearoa/New Zealand his home. He is a vastly experienced Orff presenter who has run workshops in a range of countries. He is also a highly regarded conductor who has been associated with a number of choirs since settling in this country.

Kaboom Percussion is made up of Catherine Betts and Joshua Webster. Both freelance percussionists based in Perth, Western Australia, they have a wide range of musical experience between them, and have been working together for the past decade. They both work as performers, instrumental teachers, ensemble directors, and composers. Kaboom has been running since 2014, and have performed to more than 25,000 students across Australia.
